State of Mind Aesthetic Turbulence, A comforting Tea fragrance.
It’s interesting how a simple scent can bring back so many memories. For me, the fragrance of tea always takes me back to my homeland. Growing up, Black and Green Tea were more than just beverages—they were part of everyday life, no matter the time of year or the season. Whether it was the earthy scent of loose tea leaves stored in glass jars or the comforting aroma of tea brewing in the kettle, it was always a presence in our home. These days, I drink more coffee, but when I’m looking for comfort, I still find myself reaching for a warm cup of Chai—brewed with tea and milk—to bring me back to those quiet, cozy moments.
The first spritz of State of Mind Aesthetic Turbulence felt like a familiar whisper to my senses. The tea element is so authentic and soothing, it instantly felt like home. I couldn’t help but keep sniffing my wrists, captivated by the warm, nostalgic fragrance.
Aesthetic Turbulence is a spicy floral fragrance that demands attention. It reveals a captivating complexity that evolves over time, leaving a lasting impression of intrigue and fascination.
Key Notes
Top Notes: Oolong Tea, Mandarin, Green Tea Pearls, Bergamot
Heart Notes: Jasmine, Immortelle, Red Pepper
Base Notes: Licorice, Labdanum
It has a zesty, green, herbal opening of green tea with a good projection. After a while, the subtle presence of jasmine begins to emerge, accompanied by delicate whiffs of pink pepper. The tea notes evolve, shifting from a fresh, green impression to a slightly bitter brewed tea. While the tea remains the dominant note throughout, the dry-down reveals a hint of earthiness and sweetness, likely from the licorice and Labdanum, adding depth and complexity to the composition.
In the simplest terms, I’d describe State of Mind Aesthetic Turbulence as a spicy, sweet tea fragrance. It has a warm, comforting feel—not quite cozy, but still very inviting. I think it’s perfect for year-round wear, though personally, I can see myself enjoying it most in late summer, fall, and maybe early spring too. It strikes me as a beautifully balanced, unisex scent that doesn’t lean too heavily toward either gender.
On my skin, Aesthetic Turbulence held its initial strength for about four hours before softening slightly, but it lingered with me throughout the day.If you’re a fan of refined tea fragrances, I highly recommend checking out State of Mind Aesthetic Turbulence.
