If you haven’t tried OGEE makeup and skincare so far, you may still have seen them all over the social media channels. A little introduction to the brand for those who are not familiar with it: OGEE is a clean luxury brand committed to creating certified organic collection of high performance, multi-functional beauty. Their products are 100% natural, cruelty free, GMO free and Gluten free. The only non-vegan ingredient used in a few of their products ( Sculpted lip oils, Sculpted face sticks & velvet botanical moisturizer) is locally sourced Beeswax.
OGEE gifted me some of their Sculpted face sticks and Tinted lip oils. They were both welcome additions to my makeup collection. I am going to share with you what they are and my experience of using them.
OGEE Sculpted Face Sticks
These are multi-purpose cream sticks formulated with essential oils and fatty acids. This lightweight, illuminizing formula utilizes Green Coffee Oil to stimulate collagen, Sal Tree Resin to refine the appearance of pores, and Organic Tapioca powder to smooth the appearance of skin and absorb excess oils.
The sheer color and subtle shimmer allow for a buildable glow to accentuate and enliven natural features. Formula is suitable to use not only on cheeks but on lips and eyes as well. These OGEE makeup sticks are a minimalist must have pieces. These can be purchased as individual sticks with a choice of 12 shades or as contour collection sets. Each contour collection set includes three sticks in the shades suitable for contour, blush and highlight. Set featured here is called crystal contour collection. It includes the shades
- Copper: Radiant Cocoa Shimmer for contour
- Rose Quartz: Matte Rose Blush
- Opal: Starlight White Shimmer for highlight
These OGEE makeup cream sticks have a beautiful formula that is easy to blend both with the fingers and using makeup brushes. I prefer to blend contour and blush shades with brush for better control and apply the highlight shade with my finger tips on the high points and anywhere I want that glow effect. This trio looks beautiful together for a well composed look. These shades are quite pigmented and can be easily built up or blended down to the desired intensity.
For my oily skin, I lightly set them with a translucent setting powder. I prefer light to medium wash of colour and it lasts on my face for about 5 hours. For a longer day, I’ll recommend building up a little more. The brushes I use to blend are

OGEE Sculpted Tinted Lip Oils
A conditioning lip color treatment formulated with solid blend of organic cold-pressed Jojoba oil and butters that instantly melt onto the lips. It nourishes and conditions lip while depositing a buildable natural colour. Another minimalist product from OGEE makeup offerings.
There are ten shades available to choose from. The four I was gifted by the brand are
๐ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ: A very sheer soft white pink
๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ฎ: A gorgeous classic pink
๐๐ถ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฎ: A shimmery peach shade
๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ฎ: A beautiful nude (may have been discontinued now)
One layer goes on sheer but colour can be made a little more opaque with additional layers without it feeling heavy or on the lips. It has a light minty flavour that comes from soothing peppermint essential oil. Hyaluronic acid hydrates while vegetable derived volumizer plumps the lip.
Swatches above are about 4-5 swipes each. Once applied the colour stays put on the lips and doesn’t transfer when touched. On my lips, colour lasts for 4 hours without eating or drinking. Personally for my medium skin tone, Linnea is too light so I wore it as a topper on other three shades and love the pearly effect it gives.
