Prada Beauty : Now Available in Canada
Prada Beauty, the makeup and skincare line from Iconic house of Prada was launched on August 1, 2023 but it was not available in Canada. Took them a good year and half but finally Prada beauty launched in Canada on March 21,2025. Now we Canadian don’t need to order them blindly from across the boarder. Canadians can now explore the collection in person at select Sephora locations and Holt Renfrew. To mark its Canadian debut , Prada Beauty gifted me some of their most popular pieces and I am excited to share a little bit about them here.
Prada Beauty Lip Products
Lipstick is often the first thing that comes to mind when we think of makeup, and Prada Beauty delivers with three different formulas
- Prada Beauty Hydrating Lip Balm
- Prada Monochrome Soft Matte Blur lipstick
- Prada Monochrome Hyper Matte Lipstick
All three formulas are available in a variety of unique and flattering shades. The packaging is Beautiful and luxurious silver with Prada trademark triangle logo on Cap. Lip balm and soft matte formulas have silver details while hyper matte lipsticks support gold details.
Prada Beauty Hydrating Lip Balm
If you follow beauty trends on social media, you’ve likely seen the viral Prada Balm in U001 Astral Pink. This stunning pH-activated blue bullet transforms into a soft, rosy pink on the lips. The green bullet, on the other hand, is a universal clear balm designed to deliver lasting hydration and comfort for up to 24 hours. In addition to these two, the balm also comes in three tinted shades, offering even more options.
Prada Beauty Lipsticks
Prada offers lipstick in two Creamy and comfortable formulas, even though these are marketed as Matte lipsticks, the formulas are very creamy, comfortable and non-drying. These lipsticks are also refillable.
Prada Monochrome Soft Matte Blur lipstick
Prada Beauty’s Soft Matte lipstick is an ultra-lightweight formula with buildable coverage. It glides on smoothly and feels incredibly comfortable on the lips. The finish is a beautifully diffused matte, and the wear time is up to six hours. I put it to the test while fasting, meaning no food or drink. It held up close to the full six hours. After Ramadan, I’ll try it on a regular day and update the wear time if there’s a noticeable difference. I received the Soft Matte formula in the shade B101 Tiepolo, a soft nude pink that works as a perfect MLBB shade for me, as you can see in the swatches above.
Prada Monochrome Hyper Matte Lipstick
The Ultra Matte formula is intensely pigmented, delivering bold color in just one swipe. Don’t be put off by Ultra Matte in the name. This lipstick is surprisingly creamy, comfortable, and non-drying. It applies smoothly and stays put for hours. I received the shade B03 Mahogany, a bold maroon-brown and I love it. It was tested through a greasy meal, and while the colour softened due to the oily food, it didn’t smudge or bleed. Instead, it faded beautifully without turning patchy. I think I may be picking a shade or two more in this finish.
Prada beauty Pradascope Lash Lifting & Lengthening Mascara
Another viral sensation from Prada Beauty is the Pradascope Mascara. This beautifully formulated mascara, paired with its unique wand, delivers visible lift, length, and volume. Essentially everything you’d want in a mascara. The color is an intense black, and the formula is both non-drying and non-clumping. Described as a Re-Nylon inspired mascara, it features a flexible micro-film formula that allows for a creamy, comfortable, and buildable application.
In this photo, I’m wearing three coats of Pradascope Mascara, yet my lashes still feel incredibly soft—no crunchiness even after the formula dries. It’s so lightweight that you almost forget you’re wearing mascara at all. As you can see in the close-up of the wand below, it has a unique design with bristles covering about two-thirds of the side rather than the traditional all-around bristles. This design works like a brush for the lashes, neatly separating them while coating each one from root to tip. Even the bottom lashes are easy to coat, with no fallout or mess.
