Supergoop Protec(tint) Daily SPF50 Tint
I am excited to share with you that Supergoop Protec(tint) Daily SPF 50 Tint is finally available in Canada. This Allure Best of Beauty 2024 winner took its time getting here, but for good reason. Health Canada’s approval process for SPF products is strict, ensuring only the best make it to shelves. While we may get them later than other countries, we can trust they meet the highest safety and effectiveness standards.
It has a lightweight texture that blends easily with fingertips, leaving a natural finish. Supergoop Protec(tint) is neither dewy nor matte, just like your skin but better. The coverage is light and buildable to some extent, but if you’re looking for a medium-to-full coverage foundation, this isn’t it. Instead, it is more like a complexion enhancer that evens out skin tone and gives skin a polished look. For those of us who prefer light coverage for their everyday looks, It does a great job. All you need is to do is a little spot concealing on problem areas and this skin tint will give you a flawless, no-makeup makeup look.

Supergoop Protec(tint) is available in 14 flexible shades, and I believe multiple shades can work for most skin tones. I swatched the three that I feel are closest to my skin tone. Concept of tinted sunscreens has always held an appeal to me , but most I’ve tried have felt too dewy or greasy for my oily skin. Thankfully, that’s not the case with Supergoop Protec(tint). It has just the right finish without looking too dull or extra dewy. Though it hasn’t been tested it in summer heat yet, but based on the texture and finish, I have high hopes that it will hold up well.
Personally I like to wear a lightweight moisturizer underneath and also a primer to extend the wear time. For oily skin Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen is a great primer but for dry skin types, Supergoop recommends to use their Glowscreen primer.
