Urban Decay Cosmetics EyeBrow Products Review
I have known Urban Decay for their makeup products for many years. Even though their eyeshadow palettes were very popular but my personal experience is limited to their eyeliner pencils, lipsticks and their amazing setting powder. Their eyebrow products are recent addition to my vanity and I am going to share my thoughts and impressions with you.
Now I never have a lot of brows to start with and what I have seems to be getting sparse with age. Yes I do use brow serum and it does help to fill the gaps but I also need help from some nice Eyebrow products to make them brow look nice and groomed.

When Urban Decay offered to send their eyebrow products , I picked the colours solely based on the website photos and decided to go with Brunette Betty. It might be slightly lighter than my hair colour but I prefer softer looking brows so it worked out well IMO. Anyways so let’s Jump into the reviews.
Urban Decay Brow Blade
Price: $28/C$38 , Size: 0.01oz/0.4ml
I am starting with Urban Decay Brow Blade because even though I like all of UD eyebrow products but my favourite of them all is brow bald that I can see my self repurchasing. So what is brow blade? It is a 2-in-1 eyebrow pen + waterproof pencil. We are suggested to create the brow shape with waterproof pencil and then use then make the hair like strokes with pen side to mimic actual brow hair.

I find both of these very easy to use. Pen side is super handy to fill in sparse areas without overdoing it. The finish looks very natural. Both pencil side and pen side are very fine making precise application a breeze. This is one of the easiest to use brow products that I have tried so far.

Urban Decay Slick Day Brow
Price: $28/C$38 Size: 0.23oz/6g
Urban Decay Slick Day Brow is a clear brow gel that comes with a unique dual sided comb like applicator. Gel is intended to tame, style or laminate brows for up to 24Hrs with and residue or flaking. Applicator has a flat side that can be used to press the product into the brows for a laminated look while the other side is a comb that helps to well, comb the brows and style them to be held in the desired shape

As I mentioned earlier, I do not have a lot of brows so I tried many high end brow gels to keep my brows under control and make them look fuller by setting them in desired shape, every time I encountered the same issue. A while after application, My brows start looking white-ish as if there is some dust on them.
I didn’t try Slick Day Brow by itself because I always need to fill the brow before styling so I applied it after filling my brows with brow blade. Surprisingly I did not notice any white residue on my brows for the next few hours that I kept the makeup on. It is hard to test the 24Hr claim because I don’t keep makeup on for that long but it did hold well for the 4-5 Hrs I had it on.

Urban Decay Big Bush Brow
Price: $28/C438 Size: 0.2oz/6.1g
Last one for today is Urban Decay Big Bush Brow Volumizing Tinted Brow Gel. It is a waterproof tinted eyebrow gel with volumizing fibres. Designed to Tint, Shape and Build the brows and keep them in place for up to 24Hrs. Applicator is a tapered, asymmetrical eyebrow brush that makes it easy to pack on the hair like fibre for a fuller and fluffier eyebrow look.

For my brows it gives some volume and makes the browns look fuller but if you have bumps in your brows like me, you may need to get little help from brow blade to fill gaps, before applying this tinted brow gel. In the picture below I am wearing only Big Bush Brow and you can see my brows look tamed and styled but not as well shaped as with the brow blade.
It is still going to be handy for the days when I have to rush out and only have a few minutes to get ready. In my opinion quality is comparable to other tinted brow gels from the brands that fall in same price range like benefit cosmetics and ABh.

Just like for Slick Day Brow, I am unable to test 24Hrs claim because I don’t sleep in makeup but I can tell you it is waterproof and it stayed put for the 4-5 Hrs I had it on.
Every one of these has it’s own function and which one you need broadly depends on your brow styling preferences. Personally for me, If I have to pick only one of the three, I’ll go with Brow Blade.
