Urban Decay Face Bond Luminizer Glow Drops
After the successful release of the Face Bond foundation last summer, UrbanDecay is expanding their Face Bond collection and the newest addition to it is Urban Decay Face Bond Luminizer Waterproof Glow Drops for Face + Body. IF you are someone who likes their skin to glow and glisten in summer sun, you may need to check out these multipurpose drops.

Not only Packaging is similar to the Face Bond foundation but texture is also very similar with a thin consistency which is easy enough to blend with the finger tips. It feels lightweight and non-greasy on the skin. The Vegan, paraben free Formula contains Niacinamide to make skin look healthy and smooth. Urban Decay Luminizer Drops come in eight shades with two finishes. Four have a fine micro-glitter for a shimmery effect, while the other four have a glowy finish. The brand gifted me two shades which you can see in this post, one from each finish. The difference isn’t as obvious in photos but stands out more in person. The micro-glitter catches the light with movement, adding a little more drama.

Space Cowboy
The newest shade Space Cowboy is Champagne with silver sparkles (shimmer finish) which is pretty much the liquid version of UD Space Cowboy eyeshadow and eyeliner that you can check here It is a beautiful shade that is easy to tone up or tone down depending on the look you are going for so don’t be intimidated by the presence of sparkles in it.

Half Baked
Half Baked feels quite different from its namesake eyeshadow, in my opinion. It’s a warm bronze shade with a Glow finish. Though it doesn’t have sparkles, it’s more pigmented and a bit less forgiving. If you’re using it on your face, I’d recommend starting with a tiny amount and building up gradually. On the eyes, though, it looks stunning even when applied more intensely.

Versatile Application
What I love most about these Glow drops is their versatility. On Face These can be used as highlighter or bronzer depending on the shade or can be mixed in foundation for an overall glowy finish. These also work great as body luminizer by mixing with body lotion or oil. Another way to use them is to apply them on eyes in place of or on top of the eyeshadows.

In my experience, these blend beautifully with fingertips when used as a highlighter or bronzer. But for the eyes, I prefer a small, dense cream eyeshadow brush, using a tap-and-blend motion. Urban Decay recommends applying them with fingers on the eyes too, but I’m not the best at handling liquid shadows without a brush (and avoiding a mess). So, a brush it is for me! If you have better control, finger application might work just fine for you.
It’s still pretty cold here, and these drops feel non-greasy on my oily skin. I set them with a setting spray, and they stay put. Once the weather warms up and my skin gets oilier, I’ll use a setting powder as well. If they don’t hold up in the summer, I’ll add a note at the end of this post. Since I don’t use body luminizers, I’ve only tested these on my face and eyes, so I can’t speak to how they perform on the body but based on the feel of formula, I think they will work well.
