Urban Decay Space Cowboy Collection
When it comes to holiday makeup, there’s one thing we can’t get enough of: glitter and sparkles! After all, what’s the holiday season without a little extra shine? And trust me, there’s no such thing as too much glitter when you’re aiming for that festive, all-out sparkle. That’s where the Urban Decay Space Cowboy Collection comes in—it’s the perfect way to get those ethereal, glittering looks with minimal effort. Whether you’re going for a subtle shimmer or full-on sparkle, this collection has everything you need to glow all season long!
The Urban Decay Space Cowboy Collection isn’t huge,but it’s got exactly what you need to bring some extra shine to your holiday makeup. The collection includes a glittery eye shadow palette and a sparkly eyeliner, both of which work perfectly with Urban Decay’s permanent range for easy, festive looks. There are actually two variations of eye palette available at particular retailers. A sleek quad and a star shaped six pan palette. I personally own the quad, but for a little extra inspiration, I am also sharing a stock photo of the star-shaped palette.
There are only two identical shades across both palettes—A-List Energy and Space Cowboy Rides Again. The rest of the color scheme differs between the quad and the larger palette. So, let’s take a look at the shades that the quad has to offer!

The color payoff is fantastic—these swatches are all from just one swipe, except for Space Cowboy Rides Again, which I did two swipes for. The sparkle really pops in the sunlight and with movement. A still shot just doesn’t do it justice!
For maximum sparkle, try spraying your brush with All Nighter Setting Spray, then dipping it into Moondust before applying it to your lids. I used this technique with Sparkle Hour as an all-over eye shade, and I loved the result! Since I have oily eyelids, I also prepped with Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion to prevent creasing and help with wear time. After wearing it for about four hours, I didn’t notice any creasing or fading. Next time, I’ll test it out in the morning and check the performance throughout the day—and I’ll update this post if anything changes.
Next up is the 24/7 Waterproof Glide-On Eyeliner Pencil in Space Cowboy. This one is a beautiful champagne gold with silver glitter, much like the Space Cowboy Rides again eyeshadow in the quad but warmer. The formula is classic Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner—super easy to glide on, waterproof, and smudge-proof. As for the swatch, those little glitter chunks? That’s just me pressing a little too enthusiastically , hard enough to break the tip in the process. Whoops!
