YSL Make Me Blush 24H Buildable Powder Blush

After a few years of extreme flux of liquid and cream makeup, powder makeup is making a comeback and I am here for it. I love cream/liquid for their more natural and diffused look but I also believe applying and blending them flawlessly takes a little more time than a quick sweep of powder on the cheeks. I reviewed YSL Make ME blush Liquid Blushes when they were released last year and it is time to talk about the new powder version.

YSL Beauty launched these powder blushes in eight different shades and two different finishes. There are five shades in matte finish and three shades in a satin finish. Packaging is small round compacts with the quilted top adorned with YSL logo. YSL Beauty sent me three shades that I am sharing with you in this post.

My personal favourite in the line YSL Make ME Blush Powder Blush Restless Rose is a peachy pink powder in satin finish. A beautiful and flattering shade that will gorgeous on most all skin tones.

The boldest shade in this line is YSL Make ME Blush Powder Blush Berry Bang is a bold raspberry pink shade in matte finish. It is very pigmented and makes a statement but of course can be toned up or down according to preference.

For both finishes, the powder is very buttery and finely milled that is easy to pick and blend. There is Squalane in these blushes that helps blur imperfections and reduce the look of pores on cheeks while Rosehip from YSL Beauty Ourika Community Gardens give the effect of healthy-looking skin.

These blushes are beautiful on their own and can also be layered on top of their liquid counterparts from the YSL Make ME Blush Lliquid Blush line up. Staying power and blend ability is very impressive. Even though I loved the liquid version, if I have to pick, I will most definitely go with the YSL Make Me Blush Powder Blush
