PRADA Touch Cream-To-Powder Soft Blur Longwear Blush
Even though the weather this year has been so unpredictable, it feels like our already short spring might be even shorter. Still, spring makeup releases are having their moment. There have been so many new blush launches lately. After the shift from creams back to powders, this season seems to be leaning toward cream formulas again. There’s also been a rise in those hybrid cream-to-powder textures. One such release is the Prada Moments 24H Wear Cream-to-Powder Blush. Before getting into the formula, can we take a moment to appreciate these little snap-together triangles? They are so cute. Exactly the kind of design detail you would expect from Prada.

Prada’s iconic design in soft pink feels just as much like a vanity showpiece as it does a cheek product. The formula is silky, buttery, and smooth. It applies and blends like a cream, then sets like a powder. The finish is soft matte. The colour payoff is great and easy to build up or tone down. It also wears well for hours, so the longevity claims feel well founded.

I saw in the Prada ads that the models were wearing it on the lips and eyelids as well, so I decided to try a full monochromatic look myself. I loved it on the cheeks and lips. On the eyelids though, it did exactly what I expected. It settled into the crease shortly after applying. For the sake of testing, I did not use an eyeshadow primer underneath, so that could have been the reason.

I decided to give it another try on the eyes. This time, I wore it over NARS Eyeshadow Primer. The results were much better. Creasing was minimal and only showed up after many hours. So if you are planning an all-over monochromatic look with these blushes, do not skip the eyeshadow primer.

The Prada Touch Blush comes in eight shades. I was gifted two of them.
- Tulip : A soft baby pink that instantly won my heart. It is pretty, delicate and soft but at the same time, it still has a youthful freshness to it.
- Dahlia: A sophisticated nude pink with an understated charm. It feels subtle, graceful, and very universally flattering.

Overall, I really enjoyed this launch from Prada. The formula performs beautifully. The packaging feels luxurious. The shades are easy to wear every day. If you enjoy soft matte blushes with a cream-to-powder finish, this is definitely a release worth checking out.
